Senior Opportunities

Sixty and Above

First Christian Church has a Passon for leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus. Our Elders play a critical role in this by mentoring and leading the next generations!

Bible Study, Adult Group & Adult Classes

Every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM we meet at the church for a time of fellowship, and Bible study. Every Thursday night at 6:00 PM we meet at the church for an in-depth class on how to be a Christian. See the calendar for Men’s and women's fellowship groups.

Sunday School & Worship Service

Every Sunday at 9:15 Am we meet for Sunday School. These are classes available for all ages. After Sunday school our worship service begins at 10:30 AM.

Volunteering

There are many opportunities for our Seniors to volunteer. We always need volunteers for Childreans church, our VBS program every year, help with our food drives, handing out tracks and church invitations, mentoring, church booths, and fellowship meals at the church.

Special Events

Funerals, weddings, celebrations, movie nights, Christmas parties, Christmas caroling, Easter Events, Church trips, senior Lunch-ins and more. Check out the FCC calendar for the dates.

2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.
